5 Minutes peace and quiet.

We live in such a busy, loud and stimulating world. We start our days with the sounds of noisy alarm clocks, the hustle and bustle of cars, buses, trains and even people on our daily commute. or maybe its the general chaos of family life, kids arguing, dogs barking, games, phones, tv we are constantly stimulating our brains with noise around us all of the time. Its no wonder we crave a little peace and quiet.

Just spending a few minutes each day can make all the difference. A quiet few moments first thing in the morning with a cup of tea is my favourite way to take some time out and enjoy the peace and quiet before the day starts.

Maybe you prefer a walk in your lunch break. Taking some time out of your day to get some much needed quiet time or delve a little deeper and practice a little meditation.

Taking some time to grab that much deserved time is known to do wonders for our productivity and general creativity. Removing ourselves from constant noise and distraction can make such a difference to not just our general wellbeing but our mental health too.

Simply stopping and taking yourself away can be a welcomed distraction from that never ending to-do list and general overwhelm of this noisy world.

So next time you feel like the noise of life is getting too much, put down your phone, take some time out of your day even if its just 5 minutes and get some peace and quiet, it can really can make all the difference.
