Essential oils are more than just something that smells nice, these tiny organic molecules provide a wide variety of protection and intuitively we already know a lot about them.

Plants have been used for hundreds, thousands, millions of years as a way to ease ailments and settle symptoms.

Even in this modern world we live we intuitively know that nature is there to help and support us.

How many of you have grabbed a dot leaf to ease the sting of a nettle.

Have drank Peppermint tea to ease digestion

Used Tea Tree oil on spots, bites and stings.

Hung Lavender in pretty little bags in your bedroom to help you relax and drift off to sleep.

A squeeze of Lemon in a cup of hot water in the mornings to kick start your metabolism.

Without even realising it we already know so much about the benefits of these oils.

But it doesn’t end there. There are so many other oils we can benefit from to help support our natural wellbeing.

Add Frankincense to your moisturiser to soothe imperfections and rejueventate skin

Massage Eucalyptus to our lower abdomen during menstruation to soothe and support.

Did you know Ylang Ylang is an aprodisiac ??

Its what mama earth intended.

These plants can not protect themselves, unlike us they don’t have a house for shelter, they can’t pop on a jacket when it turns cold or switch on the fan to cool themselves off. Instead they rely on these aromatic compounds (essential oils) within the plant to ward off pests, attract things like bees and help and protect the plant from infections and injury. These compounds can be found in the leaves, petals, bark , resin and and rind of the plants, they are basically the plants immune system.

Are you now starting to understand why I am so passionate about these tiny bottles of oil and why I want to learn and teach others about bringing these essential oils into our lives so we can benefit from them similar to the way they help, support, protect the plants?

There are lots of companies out there extracting these oils, but not all are of the same purity.

Here you can learn why I chose doterra, to learn and teach others on the benefits of these wonderful oils. As mindful consumers, we need to make sure we are selecting products that are safe, effective, and as affordable as possible. Products that are kind to the Earth, and to our bodies. We want to know that what we’re putting on our skin topically, what we’re breathing in is as good and as natural as possible. We know, now more than ever before, the importance of quality and are waking up to the importance of natural wellbeing.
